STAIR RODS CUTTING

You may easily cut the rods to a shorter length if desired with a metal cutting hacksaw. We recommend using a blade with 14 to 24 teeth per inch. It is our recommendation that rods be cut 1'' (25mm) longer than the runner width. Knowing that the rod is inserted approximately 1,11 cm or 7/16" into each end bracket.

STAIR RODS OVER EXISTING CARPET

Installing stair rods over existing carpet simply requires longer screws, which are available by request from Stair Rods Online at no additional charge.

STAIR RODS ARE FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY

Versailles-Stair-Rods.com are designed for decorative purposes only, it is recommended that another means of carpet installation be used. (carpet runners can be either stapled or/and tacked or sticked / glued depending of how often (if ever) you want to remove it)

TUBULAR Vs SOLID

Tubular core and solid core rods are equally durable. Tubular core rods will not dent under normal use.

CARE AND CLEANING

Versailles Stair Rods and Stair-rods-online'sproducts have protective lacquer coating to resist tarnishing. Use only a soft dry cloth when cleaning product. Cleansers may remove protective lacquer coating.

WARRANTY

Versailles Stair Rods and Stair-rods-online warrants that all products are 100% free from defect or product will be replaced (free of charge) with like item.

SPECIFICATIONS ABOUT STAIR RODS AND BRACKETS / FINIALS SIZES

Versailles Stair Rods and Stair-rods-online Stair Rods slide into each bracket approximately 7/16'' (1,11cm). Finials attach to the bracket not the rod. Brackets are approximately 1/2'' (1,27cm) wide. Brackets + Finials (X) vary in length according to both Stair Rods collections and styles.
